These Terms govern your use of the FreeMyMemories iPhone app and website. They are written to match how the product works at launch.

Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using FreeMyMemories, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

What FreeMyMemories Does

FreeMyMemories is a native iPhone app that works with user-provided Snapchat data exports and Memories files to build a private local memory library.

FreeMyMemories is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Snap Inc. or Snapchat.

FreeMyMemories does not provide Snapchat login, Snapchat OAuth, Snap Kit login, or official Snapchat API access.

Snapchat Trademark Notice

FreeMyMemories is an independent company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Snap Inc. Snapchat is a registered trademark of Snap Inc. All related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are the property of Snap Inc. or its affiliates. Use of these names is for identification and descriptive purposes only and does not imply any association with the trademark holder.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for using FreeMyMemories only with Snapchat exports and Memories you have the right to access, preserve, and export.

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, third-party terms, and the rights of anyone whose image, voice, name, location, or other personal information appears in Memories you import, keep, export, or share.

You agree not to misuse FreeMyMemories, interfere with the app or website, attempt unauthorized access, or use the product to violate another person's rights.

Purchases

Lifetime Unlock is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase handled through Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems.

Apple handles payment processing, refunds, family purchase behavior where available, and App Store account records. FreeMyMemories unlocks app features based on purchase entitlement information provided through Apple systems.

Your Content

You keep your rights to your Memories and exports. FreeMyMemories does not claim ownership of the Memories you import. You are responsible for choosing where to store, export, back up, or delete your content.

App Store Terms

FreeMyMemories is distributed through the App Store. Apple's App Store terms, Apple Media Services terms, and any applicable standard Apple end user license terms may also apply to your download, purchase, and use of the app.

Disclaimers and Liability

FreeMyMemories is provided as available and without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every export will contain every Memory, metadata field, date, location, or media file you expect.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeMyMemories will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from use of the app or website.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product, website, law, or App Store requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
